When was the last time you checked in with yourself?

Updated: Mar 17, 2023

So Valentine's Day is the day where we typically go out of our way to show love and appreciation for those we care about.

I say “we” lightly… because I’m not one to partake in all the Valentine’s Day hoopla. Could you imagine?

But seriously, when was the last time you took a minute to show love and appreciation for yourself?

My guess is... not as often as you should.

Now don’t you go freaking out and feeling guilty because it’s just another thing you should do, that you don’t.

Showing love and appreciation for yourself and others does not need to be a grand gesture.

It’s the small things.

Done regularly.

That have the most impact.

Something as simple as taking a few moments out of your day to check in with yourself.

Taking a few deep breaths.

Pausing to reflect on your feelings.

And asking yourself if there is anything you NEED…

Is all it takes to help you stay centered and connected to yourself.

Find your 2 minutes…

As you wake up in the morning, before you have a meal or even while you’re on the toilet.

It doesn’t have to be pretty or Instagram worthy, it just needs to be done.

You deserve that care and attention.

Your mind and body will thank you for it.

When you make the time to take care of your own physical, mental, and emotional needs, you can better manage stress, decrease your risk of experiencing burnout, and maintain your overall wellbeing.

It helps you be the best version of yourself, for you and those around you.

And by the way, my FREE Self-Care Challenge is open.
